Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Protection & Control Engineering Manager to lead and grow an engineering team, influence technical strategy, and deliver impactful solutions. You will supervise engineers, drive QA/QC, and collaborate with senior executives and clients to meet project demands.

The role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, management experience in the energy sector, and a PE license is preferred. Various U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited school; Master’s in Engineering Management or MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in management within the energy sector.
• Experience in utility protection and control engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering supervision and leadership to meet project demands.
• Develop and mentor engineering team and align with technical strategy.
• Ensure proper engineering processes are followed across projects.
• Maintain relationships with senior engineering leaders and clients.
• Coordinate work across multiple offices and shared resources.
• Present technical solutions to customers and respond to questions clearly.
• Forecast engineering needs and plan training and development.
• Oversee project cost, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Lead QA/QC reviews of design packages and audits.
