Qualifications

• AS Degree or 2 years post-high school specialized training.
• Experience related to electricity, preferably in utilities.
• Minimum 5 years design experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams supporting quality and project management goals.
• Assist and support scope and project proposals.
• Meet project deadlines and support processes to meet deadlines.
• Mentor and train less experienced colleagues
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Maintain up-to-date technical skills for protection and control systems
• Develop drawings and assist in design packages using CAD/drafting
• Prepare wiring diagrams, diagrams, and control house plan views
• Ensure design standards and CAD drafting standards are followed
• Identify process improvement ideas and communicate them to management
• Compile bills of material
