AEP in Tulsa, OK is seeking a P&C Electrician to perform installation, operation, testing and maintenance of protection and control devices and related equipment. The role requires proximity to the service location and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

The position emphasizes troubleshooting, calibration, and coordination of urgent restoration efforts, with travel as needed and a strong focus on safety and documentation.

Formación

• Color vision required (ability to discriminate colors).
• PAT (Physical Abilities Test) is required to qualify for the role.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may be considered by the hiring manager.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in installation, operation, testing and maintenance of protection and control devices and related equipment.
• Test, calibrate, and diagnose protection and control devices and equipment.
• Assist with installation/maintenance of PLCs, SCADA, and related communications equipment.
• Perform switching under supervision and maintain accurate records and drawings.
• Coordinate emergency restoration and respond to call-outs as required.
• Maintain test and automotive equipment in good condition for safe operations.
