Job summary

Hanger, Inc. seeks a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist for a Laurel, MD clinic. Join a longtime leader in O&P care, with an on-site fabrication facility supporting efficient patient care and clinical innovation.

You will assess patients, design and fit devices, and collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver superior patient outcomes. Experience with prosthetics/orthotics, certification, and a clinical mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Current ABC or BOC certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics.
• Bachelor's degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics or foreign equivalent with ABC Board-Eligibility.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record within policy standards.
• Ability to obtain or maintain state licensure where required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate need for prosthetic/orthotic services and recommend options.
• Assess patient needs related to disease and functional loss.
• Design prosthetic and/or orthotic devices and select materials.
• Perform fitting, static and dynamic alignment, and ensure proper device function.
• Provide patient instruction and follow-up care; document thoroughly.
