Job summary

Hanger Clinic in Baltimore is seeking a Certified Prosthetist and/or Orthotist Clinician to join our team in the Rosedale region. The role focuses on prosthetics with orthotics support, delivering patient-centered care, and collaborating with a broad clinical network.

You will assess patients, design and fabricate prostheses and orthoses, and provide ongoing care, training, and documentation within a large multi-site group practice.

Qualifications

• Current ABC or BOC certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics, or board-eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics or foreign equivalent; ABC board-eligibility.
• Valid driver's license; ability to obtain/maintain state licensure where required.
• In states with licensure, ability to obtain/maintain licensure.
• May be willing to consider candidates not certified/board-eligible but with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate need for prosthetic/orthotic services.
• Examine and evaluate patient needs related to disease and functional loss.
• Design prosthetic/orthotic devices and select materials.
• Perform fitting, including static and dynamic alignments.
• Provide follow-up with patients and physicians.
• Mentor residents or newly certified clinicians when needed.
• Work with physicians and referral sources to develop ongoing relationships.
• Meet revenue targets in coordination with management.
• Provide detailed clinical notes and assist with reimbursement activities.
