Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Baltimore is seeking a Prosthetist/Orthotist to join our Baltimore Group Practice, primarily supporting the Rosedale clinic with potential Greenspring coverage. Expect a predominantly prosthetics-focused caseload and close collaboration with a vascular referral network.

You will design, fabricate and fit prostheses, work with a large clinical community, and advance patient outcomes through innovation and superior care. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current ABC or BOC certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics.
• Baccalaureate degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain state licensure where required.
• May consider candidates not certified but with 5+ years of experience.
• Strong understanding of biomechanics and gait analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate prosthetic and/or orthotic needs.
• Design, fabricate and fit prosthetic devices.
• Assess patient condition and adjust devices for fit and function.
• Provide patient education on device use and care.
• Meet with physicians, therapists and referral sources to grow care.
• Document clinical notes and treatment plans.
• May mentor residents or newly certified clinicians.
