Job summary

Hanger Clinic Lincoln in Nebraska is seeking a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist Clinician to join a collaborative multidisciplinary team. The role offers responsibilities across evaluation, design, fabrication, fitting, and follow-up care for both pediatric and adult patients.

You will work closely with physicians, therapists, and clinic staff to deliver high-quality prosthetic and orthotic solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and a supportive lab environment.

Qualifications

• Current ABC/BOC board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics.
• Bachelor's degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics or foreign equivalent with ABC Board-Eligibility.
• Valid driver's license required; driving record must meet policy standards.
• In states where licensure is required, ability to obtain and maintain licensure.
• Candidates not certified or board-eligible but with at least 5 years of demonstrated prosthetic/orthotic experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians in evaluating need for prosthetic/orthotic services and recommend options.
• Examine and evaluate patient needs related to disease and functional loss.
• Design prosthetic/orthotic devices and select materials.
• Take cast measurements, model modifications, and layouts.
• Perform fitting including static and dynamic alignments.
• Evaluate device performance and adjust for fit and efficacy.
• Instruct patients in use of devices and provide follow-up with patients and physicians.
• Provide in-service training to physicians and allied health staff.
• Maintain device quality and ensure compliance with safety and reimbursement regulations.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with referral sources to grow services.
• Support revenue targets and maintain detailed clinical notes.
