Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a Prosthetist/Orthotist to deliver comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic care within a collaborative rehabilitation setting. You will work with physicians, therapists and staff to assess needs, design and fit devices, and ensure optimal patient outcomes across adult and pediatric cases.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered care, and ongoing professional development within a large national clinic network.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics (ABC or BOC) or eligibility.
• Baccalaureate degree in prosthetics/orthotics or foreign equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• State licensure may be required where applicable.
• Experience in or willingness to work across disciplines (prosthetics/orthotics).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate the need for prosthetic and/or orthotic services and recommend options.
• Meet with physicians, case managers and referral sources to review capabilities and secure referrals.
• Plan strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets with management.
• Provide detailed clinical notes to patient records and follow-up with patients and physicians.
• Mentor residents or newly certified clinicians and assist other clinical staff.
