Job summary

Stony Brook University is seeking an Assistant Director, Prospect Research to support Advancement's mission by delivering timely, high-quality prospect intelligence to guide fundraising priorities.

The role leads the Prospect Research team, helps implement workflows, ensures data integrity and compliance, and partners with Development and gift officers to strengthen major gift sourcing and campaign strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; foreign equivalent or higher.
• Three (3) years of full-time experience in prospect research, management, development or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Support leadership of the Prospect Research team and help implement workflows, priorities, and best practices.
• Deliver timely, high-quality prospect intelligence to support fundraising priorities.
• Produce in-depth confidential biographical and financial prospect profiles, briefings, and project summaries.
