Stony Brook University in New York is seeking an Assistant Director of Prospect Research to support daily operations, contribute to staff development, and advance a strategic, scalable research function. You will lead and implement workflows, drive high-quality prospect intelligence, and collaborate with Development and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required (foreign equivalent allowed).
Three years of full-time experience in prospect research or related field.
Experience in higher education, non-profit, government or healthcare environments.
Working knowledge of prospect research products and systems (e.g., LexisNexis, WealthEngine).

Responsabilités

Support day-to-day operations of the Prospect Research function and contribute to staff development.
Lead and support the Prospect Research team's workflows and best practices.
Provide confidential biographical and financial prospect profiles and briefings.
Assist in vendor management and budget-related tasks for prospect research.
Promote data integrity, confidentiality, and compliant research practices.
