Job summary

Herc Rentals in Portland, OR is recruiting a ProSales Associate for our 12‑month Black and Gold Academy, designed to build a foundation in professional selling, account management, and territory planning. You will gain field exposure, coaching, and a clear track toward a Territory Sales Representative role.

The program targets early career candidates with 0–5 years of sales experience and offers hands-on experience across facilities, services, and projects.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of sales or relevant customer-facing experience.
• Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Herc Rentals’ Black and Gold Academy training and development.
• Shadow Territory Sales Representatives in the field to observe customer interactions.
• Assist with customer outreach, lead generation, and supporting revenue growth within territories.
• Learn Herc Rentals’ product portfolio and service offerings across divisions.
