Job summary

Blue Origin Engines in Renton, WA is seeking a Propulsion Engineer II to support design, analysis, and testing of BE-3U engine hardware and fluid systems across development and production life cycles. You will coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to develop test plans and analyze data, driving improvements in hardware and test cadence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a BS degree in aerospace/mechanical engineering or physics.
• 2+ years of professional experience in propulsion design, analysis, or test.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and structures.
• Familiarity with data analysis and data processing, including Python scripting.
• Experience with engine components and cryogenic propellants is a plus.
• Ability to read engineering standards/drawings and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to travel to support on-site testing; U.S. work eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to develop test plans for BE-3U engine hardware.
• Perform steady-state and transient system analyses and support engine testing.
• Analyze test data and support Test Readiness and Data Reviews.
• Generate test reports and assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions.
