Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an experienced engineer to join the BE-7 Lunar Lander Engine team. You will support production, manufacturing, and testing of engine components, drive design improvements, and update CAD drawings with proper configuration management.

You will balance multiple technical challenges, collaborate across teams, and contribute to transitioning products from development to production in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience designing, fabricating, building, and assembling aerospace components.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and large assembly models; configuration management experience (Creo + Windchill preferred).
• Experience with turbomachinery, valves, or combustion devices; knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• BS degree or higher in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and resolve non-conforming hardware across engine development, qualification, and production.
• Develop design improvements for engine components and assemblies for transition to flight production.
• Perform design for manufacturability updates and release changes in CAD drawings using configuration management.
• Balance multiple technical issues and collaborate across teams to meet program goals.
