Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Propulsion Test Engineer to own end-to-end engine testing for mission-critical propulsion systems. You will design test racks, write Python-based software on Linux, and supervise live hot-fire operations to ensure safety, reliability, and high-fidelity data.

The role requires hands-on testing, hardware integration, and strong collaboration with propulsion and software teams to evolve test capabilities as engine designs advance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical or related engineering field.
• 8+ years of propulsion testing experience or equivalent.
• Direct experience as Test Director during live engine tests or hot-fire operations.
• Hands-on design, wiring, and integration of test racks and DAQ systems.
• Proficiency in Python software development on Linux/Unix.
• Strong Linux/Unix command-line, SSH, and network debugging.
• Experience with CAN bus interfaces and sensor calibration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Secret security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as Test Director during engine and micro-turbojet hot-fire runs, managing test stand operations and safety.
• Design, build, and maintain propulsion test hardware infrastructure and instrumentation.
• Author test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria with engineers.
• Develop automated test software in Python for Linux/Unix platforms.
• Interface with ECUs, actuators, fuel pumps, and test stand controllers over CAN bus.
• Calibrate sensors and analyze telemetry to generate test reports.
• Support rapid root-cause analysis of anomalies and optimize test processes.
• Train technicians in propulsion test practices and safety protocols.
