Anduril Industries is seeking a Propulsion Test Engineer to lead engine test campaigns, design test hardware, and develop Python-based software for automated data collection on Linux/Unix systems.

You will own test cell safety and run live hot‑fire events, coordinating with propulsion development engineers to evolve test capabilities as engines change. A strong background in propulsion testing is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
• 3+ years in propulsion testing or engine test cell operations.
• Direct experience as Test Director or lead test engineer during live engine runs.
• Experience in control room operations and test schedule coordination.

Responsabilités

• Serve as Test Director during engine and hot‑fire runs; manage test stand ops, go/no‑go criteria, emergency aborts.
• Design, build, and maintain propulsion test hardware, racks, and sensor harnesses.
• Write Python-based test software on Linux/Unix; control engine profiles and telemetry.
• Implement and debug CAN bus interfaces to ECUs, actuators, and test stand controllers.
• Calibrate propulsion test instrumentation and perform post‑test analysis of telemetry.
