Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a Propulsion Technician to join the engine manufacturing team. You will participate in assembling and testing Aeon-R engine components, sub-assemblies and engines, supporting precision cleaning, hydrostatic proof testing, and flow testing to ensure robust, repeatable manufacturing processes.

You will work with a cross-functional team, reading engineering drawings and applying technical rigor in a fast-paced environment that values ownership and rapid iteration.

Qualifications

• Experience working on engines, with a focus on engine components.
• Familiarity with Gas Generator cycle engine architecture and nomenclature.
• Experience with high-pressure fluid system development and testing (hydrostatic proof, pneumatic leak checks, flow testing).
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical system integration; ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• As a Propulsion Technician, assemble and test Aeon-R engine components, sub-assemblies and engines.
• Support in-house processes and resources such as precision cleaning, hydrostatic proof testing, flow testing, and engine assembly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and process improvements.
• Contribute to safety-focused manufacturing and continuous improvement.
