Job summary

Relativity Space, Inc. is building rockets like the Aeon-R to advance space exploration and manufacturing.

This role focuses on assembling and testing engine components and supporting in-house processes to bring the Aeon-R program toward its first launches. You’ll join a team that values autonomy, ownership, and impact, working across propulsion, manufacturing, software, avionics, and corporate functions to deliver robust hardware and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience working on engines, focusing on engine components.
• Familiarity with Gas Generator cycle engine architecture and nomenclature.
• Experience in high pressure fluid system development and testing (hydrostatic, pneumatic leak tests, flow testing).
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical system integration.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Strong technical and interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Assist in front-line assembly and testing of Aeon-R engine components and sub-assemblies.
• Support precision cleaning, hydrostatic proof testing, and flow testing.
• Assist with component and engine assembly processes.
• Collaborate with a technical team to refine manufacturing methods.
