Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a Propulsion Technician to join our second-shift engine assembly and testing team in Long Beach, CA. You will work on Aeon-R components, sub-assemblies, and engines, supporting precision cleaning, hydrostatic proof testing, and flow testing to ensure high-performance hardware.

You should have hands-on engine experience, familiarity with Gas Generator cycle architectures, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience working on engines and engine components.
• Familiarity with Gas Generator cycle engine architecture and nomenclature.
• Experience with high-pressure fluid system development and testing (hydrostatic proof, flow testing).
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical system integration.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Strong technical and interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• As a Propulsion Technician, you will be on the front line of assembling and testing Aeon-R engine components, sub-assemblies and engines.
• Support in-house processes such as precision cleaning, hydrostatic proof testing, flow testing, component assembly and engine assembly.
