Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA is hiring for an Aeon R Engine Assembly Engineer to own the integrated build from design release to shipment. You will develop build processes to hit production targets and reduce issues, and define specs that boost engine production rate.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, write detailed work instructions, and help shape long‑term ERP, MES, and QMS solutions to enable high‑quality, efficient manufacturing for Terran R.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related technical field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to write detailed work instructions and process plans.
• Experience investigating and resolving hardware non-conformances.

Responsibilities

• Own the Aeon R integrated assembly from design release to integration to shipment.
• Develop processes and specs to increase Aeon R production rate.
• Support production to resolve build issues and implement technician feedback.
• Support work center development across sites, tooling, and capital equipment needs.
• Author test procedures and verify hardware health and build integrity.
• Help define and pilot ERP, MES, and QMS solutions for high-quality manufacturing.
