Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach, California seeks a Manufacturing Engineer II to join the Integrated Components team. You will own manufacturing and test processes for Aeon‑R engine components and drive improvements in manufacturability, quality, and lead times.

This hands‑on role partners with machining, assembly, supply chain, and testing teams in a fast‑paced environment. You’ll write work instructions, perform root‑cause analysis, and lead projects to deliver flight hardware for integration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 2+ years in manufacturing engineering or related role.
• Strong foundations in propulsion, mechanics of materials, and thermal-fluid systems.
• Experience training technicians and writing work instructions.
• Vendor management experience including selection and quality management.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop manufacturing and test processes for 3D printed and machined Aeon‑R components.
• Drive manufacturability, assembly, and delivery improvements to meet design intent.
• Collaborate with partners and technicians; write work instructions; conduct root-cause analysis.
• Manage supplier relationships with supply chain to ensure on‑time hardware delivery.
• Hands‑on work in a fast‑paced environment; drive projects to completion.
• Build and lead a strong manufacturing team across projects.
