Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a proactive, service-oriented project manager to lead test campaigns and flight component production within the zero-g propellant management team. You will develop, manage, and report on resource-loaded schedules, production budgets, staffing needs, program risk, and variances to the plan.

You will gather inputs from across the team and support major technical efforts with clear expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; ABET is preferred
• 4+ years of experience in thermal/fluids systems, test engineering, or project management
• Desire to learn thermal/fluids systems project management, new processes, test engineering, and spacecraft development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, etc.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Project Schedule(s) within the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
• Manage hardware status, supporting internal and external demand
• Manage budgets and capital equipment/facility project implementations
• Collaborate with all departments to access data informing decisions
• Interface with NASA to provide schedule/insight for testing efforts
• Maintain software tools, analytics, and reporting to highlight performance metrics
• Reduce and close risks and identify opportunities
• Partner with business office to ensure timely delivery of product to customer
• Manage key program metrics and reporting tools across budgets, schedules, procurement, and production
