Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and verify propulsion control systems for advanced defense aerospace platforms. The role focuses on electrical hardware used in engine control, sensors, power distribution, and embedded interfaces across the full product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior electrical engineering experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior electrical engineering experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior electrical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical architecture for propulsion control systems and subsystems.
• Support development of engine control electronics, sensor/actuator interfaces, power conditioning, wiring, and signal integrity.
• Create and review schematics, requirements, interface control documents, test procedures, and design analyses.
• Perform component selection, derating, tolerance analysis, and failure analysis for aerospace and defense applications.
• Support hardware integration, troubleshooting, verification, and qualification testing.
