Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of related mechanical engineering experience or graduate degree with 7+ years.
• Experience designing electromechanical actuation systems for aerospace/defense is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of electromechanical actuation systems for aerospace/defense.
• Translate requirements into actuation system architectures and producible hardware solutions.
• Perform concept development, system sizing analyses, and design optimization.
• Develop 3D CAD models, drawings, and engineering definition packages.
• Oversee verification/qualification testing, root-cause analysis, and design maturation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful transition to production.
