Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of relevant experience in controls, GNC, propulsion analysis, or related aerospace systems.
• Graduate Degree with at least 6 years of experience is considered equivalent.
• In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of relevant experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and evaluate control algorithms for solid rocket motor throttling and actuation systems.
• Model and analyze propulsion system dynamics, including steady-state and transient behavior.
• Develop dynamic models and simulations for aerospace control systems and propulsion.
• Create tools in MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++ for simulation and control development.
• Assist in defining system, subsystem, and component requirements.
• Collaborate across propulsion, avionics, software, and test engineering teams.
• Support ground and system test activities and data reviews.
• Prepare technical work products for internal and customer milestones.
• Contribute to multiple ongoing development efforts in a fast-paced team.
• Travel up to 10% for offsite testing as required.
• Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance.
