Job summary

Cooley LLP is seeking a Pursuit & Proposals Specialist to join the Marketing and Client Development team. The role supports pursuit, pitch, and proposal execution for priority opportunities, shaping win strategy and coaching teams.

You will manage workflows, tailor content, and ensure alignment with messaging and quality standards. The position emphasizes collaboration across offices in a hybrid schedule, with a focus on high-impact pursuits and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in marketing or business development, preferably with pursuits/proposals
• Experience writing and editing proposals
• Working knowledge of pursuit technologies (Templify, Foundation)

Responsibilities

• Support the development of high-impact proposals and pitch materials.
• Coordinate daily pursuit workflow and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Assist in applying win themes, positioning, and messaging across opportunities.
• Tailor pursuit content to client needs and focus on value proposition.
• Provide hands-on support for large or strategic pursuits with quality control.
• Track timelines and inputs to keep opportunities moving forward.
• Utilize standard pursuit tools, templates, and playbooks to drive efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with firm templates and best practices.
• All other duties as assigned.
