Job summary

Cooley LLP is seeking a Pursuit & Proposals Specialist to join the Marketing and Client Development team. The role covers coordinating pursuit workflows, tailoring content to client needs, and ensuring materials align with win strategies and quality standards.

You will support proposal and pitch production, manage daily workflow, and coordinate cross-functional teams on high-priority opportunities, with a hybrid schedule balancing in-office collaboration and remote work.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and iManage.
• Experience writing and editing proposals.
• 3+ years in marketing, business development, or pursuits/proposals.
• Familiar with pursuit technologies such as Templify and Foundation.

Responsibilities

• Proposal & Pitch production: develop high-impact proposals and pitches on time for priority opportunities.
• Tactical workflow coordination: manage daily pursuit tasks and ensure required materials are provided.
• Win strategy support: apply win themes, positioning, and messaging across materials.
• Client-specific content alignment: tailor pursuit materials to client needs and value propositions.
• High-importance pursuit execution: provide hands-on support for major pursuits and ensure quality control.
• Pursuit project coordination: track timelines and inputs for large cross-functional pursuits.
• Process compliance & best practices: follow firm-wide templates and standardized tools.
