Cooley LLP is seeking a Pursuit & Proposals Specialist to join the Marketing and Client Development team. The role focuses on pursuit, pitch, and proposal execution for priority opportunities, shaping win strategy and coaching teams.

The position emphasizes collaboration, content tailoring for clients, and maintaining standardized tools and templates. The hybrid schedule blends in-office collaboration with remote work, with an expected 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in marketing or business development, preferably in pursuits and proposals.
• Experience writing and editing proposals.
• Working knowledge of pursuit technologies (Templify and Foundation).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and iManage.
• Available to work overtime, as required.

Responsibilities

• Support development of high-impact proposals and pitch materials.
• Coordinate daily pursuit workflow and timelines across the firm.
• Assist in applying win themes, messaging, and differentiators.
• Tailor pursuit content to specific client needs and audiences.
• Provide hands-on support for large or high-priority pursuits and ensure quality control.
