Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions in the United States is partnering with a respected regional law firm to hire a Legal Proposal Specialist. This role will support the firm's Marketing team by leading proposals, pitches, and pursuit materials, working with attorneys and practice leaders to drive wins.

This full-time, remote opportunity prefers candidates located in the Pacific Time Zone. The role offers a competitive salary between $110,000-$130,000 depending on experience plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of proposal, pitch, RFP/RFI/RFQ, or related business development experience in a professional services environment.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and stakeholder management with a client-service mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority pursuits with accuracy, compliance, and deadlines.
• Experience working with attorneys or senior professionals in deadline-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex proposals and pursuits from intake through strategy, content development, production, submission, and follow-up.
• Analyze solicitation requirements, manage compliance and project plans, and drive cross-functional coordination to meet deadlines.
• Partner with attorneys and internal teams to develop win strategies, pursue new opportunities, and deliver exceptional client service.
• Draft, edit, and maintain persuasive proposal content, attorney biographies, credentials, and experience records within Foundation.
• Prepare and coach attorneys for client presentations and interviews through messaging, presentation development, rehearsals, and feedback.
• Manage proposal reporting, pursuit tracking, workflow improvements, quality control, and process optimization using Asana and related tools.

This role will support the firm's Marketing team by serving as the a key collaborator for pursuits and proposals, working alongside attorneys and practice leaders to lead proposals, pitches and other pursuit materials. This is a critical role in establishing new business, working from discovery to submission and follow-up, requiring strong written and verbal communication, research skills and deadline-driven project management.

What you will bring:

• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a strong client-service mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority pursuits simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and attention to detail.
• Experience working directly with attorneys or senior professionals and influencing teams in deadline-driven environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, proposal development platforms, Foundation or similar systems, and project management tools such as Asana.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience supporting presentations, interviews, public sector pursuits, or visual communications is a plus.
