LHH is partnering with a California‑based legal firm to hire a Marketing & Business Development Manager. This role is a new position beginning to establish the marketing strategies and business development opportunities for the firm. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of experience within a law firm generating marketing content, new strategies and overall growth.

The Marketing & Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with attorneys and marketing advisory board to drive awareness and overall lead generation initiatives. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of marketing experience within Legal, strong events and communication skills, and prior experience working on proposals and pitches.

This is a fully onsite position based in Los Angeles, California, offering a competitive salary between $120,000-$155,000 depending on experience, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced legal environment with long‑term growth potential.

What you will do:

• Serve as marketing lead, developing and implementing marketing strategies for customer relationship management, new business, brand awareness and events.
• Develop and oversee written communication, particularly in the form of proposals as well as website content.
• Lead market research to understand competitor analysis and opportunities for referrals ad new business.
• Collaborate with attorneys and administration leaders to ensure effective campaigns and marketing collateral deployment.
• Support day to day marketing functions, including but not limited to RFP preparation, pitches, website content, LinkedIn copy, graphic design, etc.

What you will bring:

• 5+ years of marketing experience within a legal environment.
• Demonstrated success developing and executing marketing strategies tied to business development goals.
• Proficient in CRM management, CMS management, general graphic design, etc.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities.
• Analytical mindset with experience using marketing performance and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of legal industry marketing and advertising standards is a plus.
• Ability to work fully onsite.
