Job summary

The Standard is seeking a Proposal Specialist (Sales Analyst) on our Employee Benefits team who will lead the RFP process for new and growing business. You’ll combine relationship management, customer service, and rigorous analysis to deliver accurate, competitive proposals.

You will collaborate with Sales Representatives, Brokers, Underwriters, and Employers to secure the best outcomes, while maintaining our standards for professional negotiation and timely communication across the entire

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in Group Employee Benefits Products and underwriting guidelines; Salesforce CRM preferred.
• Life and Disability insurance license for all states within office territory required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate RFP risks for amendments & new groups.
• Negotiate pricing, rate competitiveness, and product enhancements.
• Analyze all RFP documents for underwriting feasibility, experience evaluation, and proposal accuracy.
• Administer re-quotes and corrections.
• Manage Salesforce data input, stage updates, document uploads, reports, probability, and pipeline.
