Job summary

Symetra is seeking an RFP Analyst to support the Benefits sales team by logging and tracking RFPs, gathering underwriting information, and ensuring timely proposals. You will monitor deadlines, coordinate with sales, and help maintain records and data quality across the RFP process. Strong detail orientation and communication are important.

This role provides exposure to underwriting workflows and the opportunity to contribute to winning proposals in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Review and submit RFP requests for evaluation; enter data into the appropriate database; ensure underwriting requirements are received and delivered.
• Identify and initiate RFP questionnaire requests; continually monitor RFP due dates and actively manage the RFP process to ensure compliance.
• Partner with sales team to ensure timely delivery of proposals and any sales materials, if needed.

Responsibilities

• Review and submit RFP requests for evaluation in a timely manner; enter RFP data into the appropriate database; ensure all requirements needed to assess risk are received and delivered to Underwriting.
• Provide back-up support to other field offices when needed.
• Other tasks or projects as assigned.
