Job summary

The Standard is seeking a Proposal Specialist (Sales Analyst) on the Employee Benefits team to manage the RFP process for new and growing business. You will collaborate with Sales Representatives, Brokers, Underwriters and Employers to ensure accurate, competitive proposals and strong client outcomes.

You will apply analytical skills to evaluate proposals, negotiate pricing, and maintain Salesforce data, contributing to a high-performance culture focused on client service and operational

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Group Employee Benefits Products, underwriting guidelines, Salesforce CRM is preferred.
• Certifications/Licensures: Life and Disability insurance license for all states within office’s assigned territory will be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the RFP (proposal) process for new business as well as existing/growing business.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers (Sales Representatives, Brokers, Underwriters, and Employers) to provide the best possible outcome.
• Analyze RFP documents for underwriting feasibility, experience evaluation, and proposal accuracy.
• Administer re-quotes and corrections.
• Manage Salesforce data input, stage updates, document uploads, reports, probability, and pipeline.
