Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a Marketing Communications Lead to grow the company's regional presence through client development, marketing outreach, and project procurement. You will develop proposal content, responses to RFQs/RFPs, and presentations, coordinating with the Proposal Manager and regional leaders to deliver compelling materials aligned with the Hensel Phelps brand.

The role emphasizes storytelling, visual layout, and collaboration with senior teams to win new work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of architecture, engineering, and construction experience or equivalent.
• Strong storytelling and visual layout skills.
• Proficient with Adobe InDesign; familiarity with Illustrator and Photoshop.
• 3+ years’ experience with CRM software.
• Highly organized with superb task management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFQ/RFP responses and complex design-build pursuit materials.
• Coordinate with senior staff to prepare proposal content and ensure accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate on presentations and interviews with prospective clients.
• Lead kickoff and capture planning discussions; ensure win themes are reflected.
• Track communications with local and remote partners to meet deadlines.
• Maintain input into company databases with project/proposal information.
• Coach coordinators to take on more responsibilities within proposal focus areas.
