Job summary

The role blends graphic design and writing, requiring attention to detail, deadline discipline, and collaboration with technical staff to produce high-quality deliverables for clients and communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in proposal development, graphic design, marketing, or related role.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce visually compelling proposals, statements of qualifications, presentations, and other pursuit-related materials that align with Walker Partners’ brand standards.
• Develop thoughtful page layouts and create infographics, diagrams, maps, charts, matrices, timelines, and other visual elements that communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
• Maintain proposal templates, project information, resumes, qualifications, and other business development resources.
• Collaborate with technical staff and marketing/administrative team members to gather project information and translate technical concepts into written and visual content.
• Assist with the proposal development process, participate in kickoff and review meetings, and prepare final deliverables.
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines while ensuring materials are accurate, polished, and free of errors.
• Write, edit, and refine proposal content and marketing materials for clarity and impact.
