Job summary

LJA Engineering, Inc. seeks a Proposal Coordinator I in its Marketing department in Dallas, TX. You will support the development, production, and submission of proposals and qualifications packages, while assisting with interview presentations.

This role focuses on building proposal management skills and working with pursuit teams under guidance. Responsibilities include coordinating proposals, formatting documents in InDesign, collecting materials, maintaining content libraries, and ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in proposal or marketing support.
• Strong writing and editing abilities with attention to detail.
• Basic to intermediate Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate small to moderate-sized proposals under guidance of senior staff.
• Format and assemble documents using Adobe InDesign and MS Office.
• Collect resumes, project descriptions, and supporting materials.
• Maintain proposal files, templates, content libraries, and CRM records.
• Support subconsultant coordination and information collection.
• Prepare compliance matrices and perform quality checks on documents.
• Assist with interview presentations and marketing collateral development.
• Lead kickoff meetings for routine pursuits.
