Brown University in Providence is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to provide administrative pre-award services to the Division of Biology and Medicine investigators across a portfolio of federal, state, industry and foundation-funded grants and contracts.
The role guides investigators through the application process to ensure proposals are high-quality, submitted on schedule, and compliant with federal, state and institutional regulations and policies.
BioMed Research Administration offers a collaborative, results-focused environment where staff partner with departmental colleagues to provide comprehensive research support. This position provides administrative pre-award services to Division of Biology and Medicine investigators across a portfolio of federal, state, industry and foundation-funded research grants and contracts.
Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director, Pre-Award Services, the Proposal Coordinator plays an integral role in supporting researchers’ efforts to obtain funding for innovative scientific, training and career development projects. Serving as a trusted resource, this role guides investigators through the application process to ensure proposals are high-quality, submitted on schedule, and adhere to federal, state and institutional regulations, policies and procedures.
