Brown University seeks a Grants and Financial Manager to provide high‑level pre‑ and post‑award financial services for the Applied Mathematics group. The role includes budget planning, payroll reconciliation, purchasing oversight, and management of sponsored awards within a hybrid work arrangement.
The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years of financial experience, expertise in grant accounting, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
This position provides high‐level comprehensive pre‐and post‑award management and financial services to Applied Mathematics faculty, staff, and students. The Grants and Financial Manager provides research management support, including budgetary/financial planning and analysis, research administration, payroll reconciliation, purchasing oversight, account management, coordination of effort certification process, coordination of salary reallocations and costings, and financial planning of sponsored awards.
