Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a driven Marketing & Proposal Coordinator to own the full pursuit lifecycle from kickoff through final submission. You will work daily in InDesign, partnering with project teams, marketing leadership, and executives to position Holder as the builder of choice for complex, high-stakes projects.

You will drive proposals, craft compelling messaging, and continuously improve templates and workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of proposal/marketing experience in the AEC industry.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to own tasks.
• Ability to manage multiple pursuits in a deadline-driven environment.
• Comfortable taking ownership and driving improvements.
• Team-first mindset with a focus on quality and process.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of RFQs, SOQs, RFPs, and interview presentations from kickoff to submission.
• Lead proposal production in InDesign with high-quality visuals.
• Shape win themes and differentiators to strengthen our narrative.
• Manage schedules, deadlines, and hold contributors accountable.
• Collaborate with project teams and marketing leadership to position Holder strongly.
• Improve templates, processes, and workflows for faster delivery.
• Maintain proposal resources such as resumes and content libraries.

We’re looking for a driven Marketing & Proposal Coordinator to join our team in one of our regional offices. This is a proposal-first role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment and wants to own the full pursuit lifecycle from kickoff through final submission. This person doesn't just support proposals—they drive them. You’re organized, creative, and proactive, with the ability to push teams forward, elevate our work, and continuously improve how we deliver.

You’ll be in InDesign daily and partnering closely with project teams, marketing leadership, and executives to position Holder as the builder of choice for complex, high-stakes projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of RFQs, SOQs, RFPs, and interview presentations from kickoff through submission
• Lead proposal production in Adobe InDesign, ensuring high-quality, polished, and visually compelling deliverables
• Drive pursuit strategy by identifying differentiators, shaping win themes, and improving how we tell our story
• Keep teams on track - manage schedules, push deadlines, and hold contributors accountable
• Partner with project managers and technical staff to turn complex content into clear, compelling messaging
• Continuously improve templates, processes, and workflows to help the team work smarter and faster
• Maintain and evolve proposal resources (resumes, project sheets, content libraries, databases)

What We're Looking For

• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe InDesign (this role is hands-on, daily production)
• 4+ years of proposal/marketing experience in the AEC industry
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple pursuits in a deadline-driven environment
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership without waiting for direction
• A team-first mindset with the confidence to push for better quality, better process, and better outcomes
