Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Proposal Coordinator in North Carolina to support local offices by preparing compelling SOQs and proposals. You will craft and edit resumes, project descriptions, and management plans to align with client requirements.

You will organize information using Pursuit Project Plans, conduct market research, and help develop regional marketing collateral while maintaining a content library and supporting events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Two years of marketing and communications experience, or six years of related experience without a degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign.
• Strong time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of the AEC industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and respond to project- and client-specific SOQs and proposals.
• Write new content and edit resumes, project descriptions, and management plans to support proposal messaging.
• Research and gather information for proposals and presentations, including resumes, forms, and supporting documentation. Format, edit, and rewrite content as necessary to meet project requirements.
• Use Pursuit Project Plans to organize information, deadlines, and action items for office pursuit teams.
• Conduct market research on clients and project pursuits to provide new insights, strengthen team knowledge, and support win strategies.
• Organize and maintain a content library of resumes, project descriptions, photographs, standard narratives, and submitted SOQs/proposals.
• Develop local and regional marketing collateral and assist the communications team with video production and editing as needed.
• Provide data entry for CRM systems and vendor forms.
• Update resumes and project capsules.
• Assist with proofreading, editing, and formatting.
• Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning and report any safety issues or concerns to management.
• Maintain quality standards on all projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
