Job summary

Terracon is seeking a detail-oriented marketing and proposal specialist to support offices in generating tailored SOQs, proposals, and marketing content for project pursuits in the Wilmington area.

The role involves writing and editing resumes, project descriptions, and management plans, gathering information, maintaining content libraries, and supporting events and trade shows. Strong communication, time management, and familiarity with the AEC industry are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field with two years of marketing/communications experience, or six years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign.
• Strong time management skills.
• Understanding of the AEC industry is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and respond to SOQs and proposals.
• Write new content and edit resumes, project descriptions, and management plans.
• Research and gather information for proposals and presentations; format and rewrite content as needed.
• Use Pursuit Project Plans to organize information, deadlines, and actions for office pursuit teams.
• Conduct market research on clients and pursuits to inform win strategies.
• Organize and maintain a content library of resumes, narratives, and SOQs/proposals.
• Organize events and trade shows.
• Develop local/regional marketing collateral and assist with video production/editing.
