Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to support proposal generation and collateral development for offices. You will write and edit resumes, project descriptions and management plans to convey the project message.

You will research client needs, organize content libraries, manage Pursuit Plans, and assist with events and trade shows while maintaining quality and safety standards across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field with 2 years of marketing/communications experience, or 6 years in lieu of degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign).
• Strong time management and understanding of A/E/C industry.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understand basic marketing principles.
• Understand project lifecycle.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and respond to project and client SOQ/proposals by creating SOQ proposals.
• Write new pieces and edit resumes, project descriptions and management plans of proposals.
• Research and gather information for proposals and presentations, formatting content as needed.
• Use Pursuit Project Plans to organize information, deadlines, and action items for office pursuit teams.
• Perform market research on client and project pursuits to support win strategy.
• Organize and maintain a content library of resumes, project capsules, photos, and narratives.
• Organize events and trade shows.
• Provide data entry for CRM and vendor forms.
• Update resumes and project capsules.
• Assist with proofreading, edits, and formatting.
• Maintain registrations, licenses, and memberships.
• Follow safety rules and participate in pre-task planning.
• Maintain quality standards on all projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
