Job summary

Billingsley-Company is seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee maintenance and service operations at one of our Class A properties, Wallis and Baker. The role includes managing a broad range of maintenance and capital projects while ensuring budget compliance and top-tier quality.

The ideal candidate will lead maintenance staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with the Portfolio Manager on budgets and turnover.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications in property management preferred.
At least 6 years of experience in a managerial role within multifamily property maintenance.
EPA, CPO, and MPO certifications required.
Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations.
Exceptional customer service orientation; on-call during emergencies, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive inspections across turnovers, pools, landscaping, and amenities.
Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs and repairs.
Develop and maintain emergency action plans for properties.
Hire, train, and manage maintenance staff; provide coaching and action planning.
Evaluate staff performance and take corrective actions when needed.
