ML Property Group in Burlington, NC seeks a Service Manager to oversee maintenance requests, preventative maintenance, and amenity area upkeep. You will collaborate with the Community Manager to ensure a safe, welcoming living environment for residents and staff.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of apartment maintenance and at least 1 year in a service manager role, HVAC and EPA certifications, and a commitment to safety and reliability in daily operations.

Formación

• Requires HVAC certification and EPA refrigerant handling knowledge.
• Minimum 3–5 years in apartment maintenance; 1+ year as Service Manager or equivalent.
• Proven safety and compliance experience in building operations.
• English fluent communication and strong paperwork/record-keeping.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance tasks including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Respond to resident service requests and coordinate make-ready work within 24 hours when possible.
• Conduct on-call emergency service after hours with rapid response (within 1 hour).
• Maintain and update maintenance logs, inventories, and safety inspections.
• Inspect exterior lighting and ensure property grounds are kept in good order.
• Comply with all MLPG policies and safety programs; work with Community Manager on budgets.
