Job summary

Comstock is seeking a Security Officer to patrol properties, manage access, and maintain safety and appearance for residents and guests. You will enforce rules, report incidents, and support events, with duties including valet management and plaza maintenance.

The role requires DC security certification, a high school diploma, and reliable, customer-focused service. Expect after-hours work and weekend shifts, with a competitive wage and benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be certified security officer by the District of Columbia.
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer-service related field.
• Valid driver’s license without major violations.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrol route of the property.
• Access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Enforce no dogs on the plaza and maintain area appearance.
• Report safety concerns and incidents to management.
• Assist Marketing team for events at Reston and Loudoun Station.
• Manage the plaza traffic and valet at Reston Station.
