Job summary

TAM Residential in Everett, WA is seeking a Porter to maintain cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal across our multifamily communities. You will support daily cleaning, upkeep of common areas, and assist the maintenance team as needed.

No prior maintenance experience is required; strong English communication, reliability, and a collaborative attitude are valued. The role offers 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K and PTO.

Qualifications

• English communication skills are essential.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and materials.
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas across the community and maintain safe, inviting surroundings.
• Ensure exterior stairs and walks are hazard-free and maintain storage areas.
• Report on-time with neat appearance and proper uniform.
• Check daily for cleanliness in parking, pools, and other amenities.
• Transport trash to disposal areas.
• Restock bathroom supplies and replace light bulbs.
• Operate cleaning equipment and basic maintenance tools safely.
• Aid in preparing vacant apartments for move-in.
• Follow TAM safety standards and policies.
• Occasional travel to other TAM communities as needed.
• Inform supervisors of safety concerns.
• Assist management with resident activities and postings.
