Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of custodial/maintenance experience.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to communicate with team members and residents for customer service.
• Ability to read and understand policies and procedures including SDS.
• Ability to identify cleaning chemicals and read SDS.
• Knowledge of PPE and proper chemical handling.
• Basic understanding of emergency systems and operations.
• Knowledge of paint types and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks for common areas, grounds, and amenities.
• Clean and sanitize high-traffic areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and recreation spaces.
• Maintain outdoor spaces, sidewalks, parking lots, and landscaping.
• Ensure trash and recycling areas are tidy and emptied.
• Conduct routine inspections to report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Address minor maintenance like light bulbs, paint touch-ups, and furniture assembly.
• Assist residents with moving in/out, including loading/unloading.
• Provide friendly customer service to residents and respond to needs and concerns.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a positive resident experience.
• Maintain outdoor landscaping with mowing, trimming, and planting.
• Keep outdoor areas free of debris and litter.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
