Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking an Assistant Community Association Manager to assist in managing properties in line with company policies and standards. You will develop knowledge in lease administration, income/expense management, facilities management, and tenant relations.

The role involves field activities, tenant communications, inspections, budget support, and regular reporting. Strong customer service and MS Office skills are essential; CAM license in Florida is preferred, with

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as an on-site manager managing property or building operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Certified and Licensed by the State of Florida for CAM preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedures, leases, regulations or documents.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

• Acquires and maintains knowledge of state statutes and client documents.
• Assists with field activities for a property or group of properties.
• Oversees tracking and response to tenant service requests.
• Maintains tenant relation program and regular communication with tenants.
• Performs quarterly property inspections.
• Coordinates insurance requirements for properties and vendors.
• Prepares tenants’ manuals, emergency procedures, and tenant communications.
• Prepares check runs, capital trackers and funds for approval.
• Assists in the preparation of monthly reports.
• Assists in developing operating and capital budgets.
• Assumes other duties as directed by Community Association Manager.
• Establishes industry contacts and networks in the marketplace.
• Fosters daily positive interaction among building management团队.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
