Job summary

Brookfield Properties is seeking an on-site Property Administrative/Assistant Manager at The Gardens Columbus in Columbus, Ohio. You will support the General Manager with daily operations, assist in budgeting and asset performance, and supervise associates to ensure top service and compliance.

You’ll handle leasing activities, rent collections, maintenance coordination, and procurement, fostering a well-run, guest-focused property.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of leasing, bookkeeping, operations or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports on-site property operations and general administration.
• Acts in Manager's absence, assisting with property performance and NOI.
• Prepares purchase orders, codes vendor invoices, and processes payments.
• Maintains knowledge of maintenance programs, handles service orders and resident requests.
• Leads leasing activities: meet prospective residents, show properties, quote rents and collect applications.
• Collects rent, verifies payments and follows up on delinquencies.
• Assists in directing and supervising associates.
