Job summary

Brookfield Properties in Columbus, OH seeks a Leasing Manager to lead the leasing team, drive occupancy targets, and deliver outstanding resident service across a multi-building community.

You will train and coach staff, manage the leasing process from inquiry to move-in, ensure data accuracy in the property software, and collaborate with management to meet budgeted goals while maintaining community standards. Weekend work may be required, with strong incentives and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 Years: Supervisory experience - Required
• 3-4 Years: Sales or leasing experience - Required
• Note: 1-2 Years of experience can offset minimum educational requirements for this position

Responsibilities

• Meets with prospective residents, identifies housing needs, shows units, quotes rates.
• Prepares leases and addendums; maintains lease records and waiting list.
• Ensures leasing data accuracy in property software; reviews move-in files and occupancy reports.
• Maintains leasing office and models in presentable condition; trains staff and monitors pricing weekly.
• Ensures apartments are ready for occupancy; distributes keys and move-in paperwork.
• Trains new leasing employees and ensures policy adherence.
• Monitors closing ratios and occupancy; leads team to budgeted goals.
• Assists with resident retention and day-to-day property operations.
