Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in operations, lease administration, and resident relations at Cypress Creek at South Cedar. You will help manage financials, reporting, and day-to-day property activities to ensure resident satisfaction and property performance.

The role requires 2–3 years in property management, a HS diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), and familiarity with Yardi Voyager or similar systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in property management is required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities is required.
• Real estate license is preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Prior experience with Yardi Voyager or similar system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day operations of the property, including resident satisfaction and lease lifecycle activities.
• Understand and apply operations guidelines in the property management agreement.
• Maintain accounts receivable, collect rent, post rent, and manage the rent roll.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Audit records for lease expirations, delinquencies, and evictions; collect delinquent balances.
• Process evictions and related paperwork, notices, and court appearances.
• Lease apartments as needed and assist with property marketing and leasing.
